Much appreciated.

As for independence, I respect my motherland and host country the same way. Both gave me a lot. But I don't believe in wearing my patriotism on my sleeve. First let me say this about Gays/Lesbian...Hello!!!!
First let me say this about Gays/Lesbians, I must first say I do NOT Hate them as I have an Aunt who is Gay and my husband has an Uncle who is Gay, but I think to legalize GAY SEX is well OK, I do not want anyone harmed nor harassed for what they want to do, with that said though, it is against the way I believe as I believe the Word of God spoken to us in the Bible clearly states it is a sin and God destroyed Sodom and Gohmorrah over acts of immorality. In the Unitd States, many states are Making Same Sex couples legal to be Married!!! MARRIED like a Marriage, are you kidding me??? A MARRIAGE is between a MAN and a WOMAN, not same sex, have your same sex union --have rights as any other couple have rights, but do not destroy the sanctity of marriage for your Liberal beliefs. I often wonder is this why America is in the depths of a depression that mirrors that of the Great depression because or leader has not Recognized the the United States of America is a Nation founded of Christian Beliefs and Values. If people really read our constitution, this country was Certainly founded on a Country that Values God's Blessings upon her. I think until the people of this country stand up and acknowledge this we will not be spared deeper financial woes. Not that monetary blessings are all that is important because it is not, having favor and Mercy from God are highest priority.
With that said, I feel as well Sin is Sin, whether it be Gay Sin or Adultery, Murder, Stealing, it is all Sin in the eyes of God and as a child of God, I know you can repent and ask for forgiveness and he is a loving God like our earthly father only so much more and he forgives us. I hope that makes sense and does not offend you, as I do not know what religion you are, and it doesn't matter to me, you are my friend regardless, like you mentioned us Americans are very diverse people and some have racists views, I was not raised that way. The reason I do not see eye to eye with Pres. Obama is not that he is black, but that he is not what is best for America in my opinion.
Thank you so much for speaking so kindly about my Patriotism!!!I love this country and always have, I love our short 233 years of Independence from England, yours a much shorter time, but clearly a day to be proud, I love that i raised 3 Patriots to be Proud of their Country and Stand up and Voice your Opinions about what is god and bad about it, my Son is starting his 2nd year of Law School, most Law schools are very Liberal and I'm so Proud of him for standing up and saying in class his different objectives to what they want the class to hear, one of his Professors who happened to be a woman, when he voiced a difference of opinion, almost cried one day and she said to him, "one day it would be am Honor to argue a case against you because you are strong in your opinions and not follow the crowd type of person." He ended up being in the top 10% of his class all the while not caving in to the liberal views of most Professors.
Well I have babbled on long enough
God Bless you my dear friend and thank you again for bringing up the attention of your fellow Indian friends to be proud of their country!!!!
love,
jamieMimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06070694544133528430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1047719215262967478.post-22717929357532439552009-07-03T10:16:27.444-07:002009-07-03T10:16:27.444-07:00First congratulations to u on getting that WOW awa...First congratulations to u on getting that WOW award...u deserved it!!!

Well people in India do celebrate their independence, its just that its different as compared to western countries. Western countries cant celebrate the way we do nor can we celebrate the way they do.
Some people dont know how to express their feeling and i its fine unless u know that u love and respect this day. Everywhere in the world u have some people who are not much concerned in all these...so its not only India..but its a small population. People enjoying Independence Day is good. I think its fine going for picnics on this day.NRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17987719285041286082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1047719215262967478.post-81164332037478234192009-07-03T08:39:02.429-07:002009-07-03T08:39:02.429-07:00congrats for the award anju..good going...:)
Well...congrats for the award anju..good going...:)

Well I dont know how making it non-criminal will make ppl to opt for it??...Do you think ppl where awaiting this so they can turn gay??... I dont think so. It will protect Gay's Lesbians from police harrasment and will give them the right they deserve. And if you start putting ur thght on hold because of some cynical comment. Trust me you won't be able to write any other post on social topic....:)

Coming to independence celebration I think I will echo APARNA's view.

regards
http://allthecrap.wordpress.com/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1047719215262967478.post-48769330598531658302009-07-03T08:17:26.992-07:002009-07-03T08:17:26.992-07:00wow! wow award! Congrats ji congrats!
I have seen ...wow! wow award! Congrats ji congrats!
I have seen people not standing for national anthems also. Hell, I feel like asking them to atleast show respect to their in that way!
What do I do on Independence day? I bunk the school function and chill-maarofy at home! Yes, I'm very non-patriotic when it comes to standing in sun listening to big lectures of principal! But, I do stand up for national anthems! :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1047719215262967478.post-48406332478092331322009-07-03T07:16:52.999-07:002009-07-03T07:16:52.999-07:00Bhuva, Indeed your achievement is very well taken ...Bhuva, Indeed your achievement is very well taken and all accolades for you to get this recognition in the blogging world.

As far as the second aspect of a sense of patriotism, I'd say that we Indians are also not far away. Slowly but steadily the feeling is growing in every Indian about self belonging to the country and above all, believing in the system and the well oiled machinery that is currently running such a fragile system here in India.

Not to forget it's been only 61 years for us to emerge as an independent nation as compared to many hundreds for the Americans. Slowly but steadily, the change is definitely coming in. With Barack Obama as the first Black US President, A Chinese being the best NBA (Basketball) player, a White being the top notch rapper (Eminem), a Black the best Golf player (Tiger Woods), this country is definitely leading the way in globalization and is making the rest of the world realize that one has to believe in themselves regardless of what country, origin or sex they are from.

Definitely JAI HO to the rising India one step at a time.Ashishhttp://ooglersgooglers.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1047719215262967478.post-6840671479852781932009-07-03T06:45:46.755-07:002009-07-03T06:45:46.755-07:00wow, award after awards, you are certainly going p...wow, award after awards, you are certainly going places Anju...And congrats. Some people perhaps just dont know how to show it.
People also confuse the government with the country. And if they are disappointed with the government, they think showing disrespect to the country's laws or not standing up when the national anthem is playing will show their
apathy.
Sorry for rambling. Got a little carried away.Aparnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05527786215758008556noreply@blogger.com
